The prestigious EN DIN ISO 9000 ff quality assurance standard was awarded to Schrader Glasformenbau in 1997. The company is proud of being the first glass mould manufacturer in Europe to receive this recognition. These high standards are maintained by a computer controlled system that ensures consistant, repeatable high quality products. To ensure the innovative approach to product development an in-house soft ware department has been added. In 1999 Schrader extended the manufacturing base in Porta Westfalica with the acquisition of a competitor "Formenbau Schoenebeck". For the two founders of Schrader Glasformenbau, once employed there, things had come full circle. Today the 5.000 square meter facility houses some 40 CNC machines and machining centre producing mould equipment. The continuous seven-day production is flexible to ensure customer satisfaction, working around the clock if required. The current workforce of 215 employees produces and overhauls equipment for use by the world wide glass container industry.
